last belize blog (a bit late)
So I found out a bunch of people were following our trip to Belize and were disappointed that I didn’t finish blogging our last couple of days! Sorry about that, it was difficult to get internet at our second hotel so that’s why I stopped. If you happen to care what our last few days of vacation looked like, keep reading…

Day five - keepin it short and sweet :)
Note to self: do not wear dresses in town. Otherwise, Harry the Jamaican dude will invite you to party with him downtown later that evening with “nice reggae music” and “great bars.” Yeah right! Before we came, we had people at our previous hotel inform us that San Pedro is the best place for partying…it seems they were right. Thankfully our hotel is a 30...

I have beautiful friends, both old and new. The old ones are like my favorite Hume Lake sweatshirt - warm, comfortable, familiar. I know they’ll always be there when life gets cold. (hah, did you catch that metaphor? :P ) The new ones are like my recently purchased cowboy boots - always around, making me smile, and taking me on new adventures. These last few days I’ve been so torn...
